At just 28, Julia Borelli has cemented herself as one of the leading female engineers in electronic music, shaping the sounds of Richie Hawtin, Anyma, Moby, Rüfüs du Sol, Elderbrook, Röyksopp, Ben Böhmer, Yotto and Solomun. With over a billion streams to her name, she stands among the top 1% of engineers worldwide.

Julia's journey began as a guitarist in bands, but her passion for production led her to the studio scene in Rio de Janeiro, where she became an assistant engineer at just 18. Her early work contributed to both Grammy and Latin Grammy wins, and she remains a Voting Member of the Recording Academy.

Relocating to Berlin at 20, Julia quickly rose in the ranks of the electronic music world, securing a residency at Riverside Studios alongside Moguai, Pan-Pot, and Parcels. Her work with Anyma and the Afterlife label has set new standards in mixing and mastering, giving electronic music a newfound clarity.

Beyond her technical achievements, Julia is helping change the face of music engineering.
